Project: Recycle. Reuse. Refashion!

Lately, I've been challenging myself to refashion things instead of buying new things (or new to me, as the case may seem), and not just create something from scratch. That way, I can still have an appreciation for the things I already have and save some of the fabric I have for other purposes.

Not only have I been doing this with my clothing, I've been doing this with other things such as shelf/dashboard mini shrines! Below you will see the Sacred Heart symbol, and these are made out of cardboard and magazine cut outs. They make me so happy!

I feel accomplished. What can I say?

Oh, and there will be a clothing swap on Saturday, Feb. 21st, for those who are interested. It will be at Space12 on E. 12th near Airport. Come! It will be fun.

Hi love, yay for refashioning and repurposing! Save money and save the planet! Sorry I can't be at the swap Saturday. I would love to go but I'm on full-time mom duty. I'm sure it will be fun and I hope to make it to your next event. xo
